The Queen itself does not possess any normal attacks, but it does have several abilities to help the swarm both defensively and offensively. Usually there is at least one Queen in a Zerg base.
Parasite

Mana: 75
Range: 12

Parasite can be used on a unit to spy on the enemy and is available to the Queen by default. The target will share its vision with the Zerg player until the unit dies. If used on a detector unit, then the Zerg player can also see any hidden units as well. This is an effective tool to keep an eye on the enemy and is best used on units that tend to move around frequently, such as transport units and harvesters. You may want to avoid using this ability on weak units since a smart player will just send the unit to its death to avoid giving up valuable intel. However, using this ability on an expensive unit, such as a Battlecruiser, will put the opponent in a tougher position to destroy it or expose their base.

Spawn Broodling

Minerals: 100
Vespene Gas: 100
Research Time: 80
Mana: 150
Range: 9

Queens can use this ability on specific ground targets. It can be used on all Biological ground units as well as certain Mechanical units controlled by a Biological creature. For example, a Siege Tank is eligible since it is controlled by a human, but a Reaver is not since it is purely Mechanical. The target range is complicated, but after some experience most players get familiar with it. This ability uses the flesh part of the enemy as a food to create two Broodling units and instantly destroys the target. Broodlings are very weak units and will die pretty fast in combat. Should they survive, they will have a small mana bar which depletes over time. When the mana is exhausted, the Broodlings will die. However, this ability is great for taking out specific units which tend to cause trouble, such as Siege Tanks, Defilers, and High Templar.

Ensnare

Source: Queen's Nest
Minerals: 100
Vespene Gas: 100
Research Time: 80
Mana: 75
Range: 9

This ability can be used on a group of units to slow them down. It affects a large area and causes all units to have their normal movement speed reduced to half for a limited time. Although this ability is very limited in its usefulness, it is commmonly used to catch up on any retreating enemies. Another tactic used is to expose Cloaked units. If this ability is used on a hidden target, it will still become snared and be attackable while the Ensnare effect remains active. The Ensnare will not catch on to any burrowed units.

Infest Command Center

The Queen also has the ability to Infest other Command Centers and make it part of the Zerg Swarm. Infested Terrans can be built from these structures and have powerful suicidal attacks. This ability can only be used on Command Centers which are considerably damaged by at least half of their maximum health. Although this special ability is probably one of the most least used in the game.
Gamete Meiosis

Source: Queen's Nest
Minerals: 150
Vespene Gas: 150
Research Time: 166

This upgrade will increase the Queen's maximum mana by 50. It isn't all that necessary since you can still only use one Spawn Broodling in a single battle. Thus it may be better to conserve resources.
